Natalie Matosin wins "NARSAD Young Investigator Grant"

September 08, 2017

Natalie Matosin received one of the NARSAD Young Investigator Grants for her project “FKBP5 dual disinhibition: a trans-diagnostic marker to delineate a subtype of psychiatric cases?”. She will receive $ 70,000 to work on this project for two years. "Congratulations on this important award," says Elisabeth Binder, Managing Director of the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, to her co-worker.

NARSAD Grants are awarded to early career investigators to enable them to move towards independence. The goal of the program is to launch the careers of young investigators by giving them funding to explore new avenues independently.

NARSAD Grants are one of the highest distinctions in the field of mental health research, with many investigators going on to receive larger federal and private grants based on their NARSAD Grant projects.
