Symposium "Women 4 Science - on the way to the top"

The Research Training Group GRK2174 "Neurobiology of emotion dysfunctions" is organizing several initiatives which should help to support women in science. The global aim is to prevent the frequent dropouts of female scientists at early/late stages of their career due to the still high pressure derived from environmental and social issues.

The first event will take place on thursday, the 07th of December, 2017 from 13:00pm, in Regensburg.

Speakers:

Inga Neumann, W3 Director, University of Regensburg (Spokesperson GRK2174)

Elisabeth Binder, Director, MPI of Psychiatry (Munich)

Tiziana Bonaldi, Group leader, European Institute of Oncology (Milan, Italy)

This event should also serve to foster cooperations and scientific interactions, with the goal of building supportive research networks, a necessary basis to enable successful scientific careers.

The symposium is targeted to all female scientists at any stage of their career, from graduate students to group leaders, including junior and senior Professors.
