More than 20 Max Planck Institutes will be taking part in the 'Science Market Place' next to the Max Planck Society Headquarters. Each institute will have a stand and provide the opportunity to get hands-on experience! There will also be a main stage where YouTubers 'MrWissen2Go' and 'Doctor Whatson' will be presenting videos from Max Planck Institutes around Germany. There will be presentations and a Science Slam on the main stage too! Most of the talks will be in German, but all the scientists would be happy to explain their research also in English. This event is aimed at anyone who is curious about different fields of science.
The MPI of Psychiatry will also be there with a stand where you can find out how Virtual Reality is being used in research. Alon Chen will show and explain his animated film "The stressed brain: It's all about balance" on stage.
