"NARSAD Young Investigators Grant" for Janine Knauer-Arloth

September 06, 2019

Janine Knauer-Arloth received one of the prestigious NARSAD Young Investigator Grants for her project “Mapping immune depression from cell type specific changes to brain circuits". From January 2020 on she can spend $ 70,000 in working on this issue for two years. NARSAD Grants are one of the highest distinctions in the field of mental health research. They are awarded to early career investigators to enable them to move towards independence.

"Congratulations on this important grant," says Elisabeth Binder, Director of the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, to her co-worker.
