Curriculum Vitae

Anna grew up in a small Polish city, Tarnobrzeg. After completing the International Baccalaureate program, she moved to the UK to pursue an Integrated Masters degree in Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow. Anna conducted her Master Thesis at Princeton University as a visiting scholar in Elizabeth Gould's lab where she was exploring hippocampal plasticity in mouse models of social memory dysfunction. She then joined Nadine’s lab as an IMPRS-TP PhD student. Her research focuses on how different neuromodulators within the insular cortex contribute to emotion expression and regulation. Being passionate about science communication, Anna raises awareness about mental illnesses together with the PsyComm group at IMPRS-TP.
