September 05, 2017

In 2018, three selected Max Planck Schools will start a five-year pilot phase. Among them is the "Max Planck School of Cognition", organized by the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, where the directors of the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry will take part.

Federal Research Minister Prof. Dr. Johanna Wanka, President of the Max Planck Society, Prof. Dr. Martin Stratmann, and the President of the University Rectors' Conference, Prof. Dr. Horst Hippler, announced on Monday the selection. Every school bundles the excellence spread across Germany in an innovative research field. This intelligent network is intended to provide German science with even greater international visibility in order to attract outstanding young scientists from all over the world.
