Field potential recordings

Field potential recordings

Long-term potentiation (LTP) of synaptic transmission in the hippocampus of a mouse. Field excitatory postsynaptic potentials (fEPSPs) were recorded by means of an extracellular electrode positioned into the CA1 stratum radiatum. LTP was induced by high-frequency stimulation (HFS).
