Neurology Outpatient Clinic

Neurology Outpatient Clinic

Patients with a wide variety of neurological disorders are treated by the Neurology Outpatient Clinic. For this purpose, special outpatient clinics are available: one for inflammatory CNS disease, especially multiple sclerosis, and another for movement disorders, particularly Parkinson’s disease.

Within the scope of a private consultation, we can also offer diagnostics and treatment of all neurological symptoms. The Neurology Outpatient Clinic is supplemented by the diagnostic departments. Thus, the entire spectrum of neurological examinations is at our disposal, including magnetic resonance image, cerebrospinal fluid diagnostics and neuropsychology. In addition, we can carry out interdisciplinary diagnostics and treatment, particularly with the internal/ neuroendocrinology department and the psychiatric clinic. The Neurology Outpatient Clinic closely cooperates with the Neurology Ward, thus enabling inpatient diagnostics and treatment, if needed (e.g., complex treatment of Parkinson’s disease or epilepsy). The staff of the Neurology Outpatient Clinic also work together with the Munich City Hospital in Schwabing on a consulting basis. The Neurology Outpatient Clinic offers competent, comprehensive neurological and interdisciplinary diagnostics and treatment with detailed counselling, supported by our psychosocial counseling, in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.
